Regular wiping or after use wiping
It might look obvious but wiping down your oven after Every use can make a big difference. Spills and splatters are very easy to clean when they are fresh. When the oven cooled down, use a sponge or a cloth to wipe the oven inside. Always keep in Mind after baking a pizza or lasagna, wipe down bubbled cheese from the oven floor. Always try to spend a couple of minutes on cleaning the oven after every use.
Use of Oven Liner
It’s the best tool I personally use and strongly recommend to my clients. An oven liner is a sheet of non-stick material that can be placed on the bottom of your oven to catch any spills or drips.
Clean Spills Immediately
If something spills in your oven when you are cooking, it’s best to clean it up as soon as possible. Wait until the oven has cooled down, then wipe up the spill with a damp cloth or sponge. Keeping the spills till the next day or later days is a bad idea.
Don’t forget the Racks
The racks are where you place your food, so it’s very important to keep them clean and healthy. Dirty racks can affect the taste of your food and can also be a fire hazard if there is a lot of built up grease and food can lose its flavor. Oven racks are often overlooked in the cleaning process, but they can get dirty quickly. If left uncleaned, the grime can bake on and become very difficult to remove
